Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Stockra is an inventory management application for Shopify, operated by Scurix ("we", "us"). This policy describes how we handle data when merchants install and use Stockra. Contact: support@scurix.com.
2. Data we collect via the Shopify API
When you install Stockra, we access the following through Shopify's API, with your authorization: product and variant details, inventory levels and locations, order line items (used to compute sales velocity for forecasting), and supplier information you enter in the app. We do not access customer names, addresses, or payment information.
3. How we use this data
Data is used solely to provide Stockra's features: low-stock alerts, purchase orders, forecasting, stocktakes, bundles and reports. We do not sell merchant data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except sub-processors listed below.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to authorized Scurix personnel who need it to operate and support the service. Store data is retained while Stockra is installed and deleted after uninstall as described in section 6.
5. Sub-processors
We use a small number of service providers to operate Stockra, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring. These providers process data only on our instructions and only to provide their services to us. A current list of sub-processors is available on request at support@scurix.com.
6. Data retention and deletion
When you uninstall Stockra, we delete your store's data within 30 days, in line with Shopify's mandatory data-deletion webhooks. You may request earlier deletion by emailing support@scurix.com.
7. GDPR
For merchants and their data subjects in the EEA/UK: Scurix acts as a data processor on behalf of the merchant, and processes data as necessary to provide the service under our agreement with the merchant. Requests to access, correct or erase personal data may be sent to support@scurix.com and will be handled in line with applicable data-protection law.
8. Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and, for material changes, notify merchants by email.
